Brugar engineering was established on Barrys Point road, Takapuna, Auckland, New Zealand over 30 years ago. Originally starting with automotive component manufacture, then moving onto Race car preparation, This set us up as a very respected place to get work done, with many a notable success on the race track. As with all new businesses starting out, it was tough, in order to expand and diversify other avenues of revenue were taken on and decades later mag wheel repairs remains the main source of revenue and what we are known for.

 

I brought this business 6 years ago. I have aspired to maintain the high level of workmanship and reputation the previous owner had and with our many returning customers and referrals I'd like to think I have achieved this.

 

I specialise in extensive weld repairs for very damaged rims as well as minor damage like curb rash. I get alot of referrals from other businesses and satisfied customers. I wont send a wheel back until its perfect and I personally guarantee my wheel repairs and modifications. If I asess your wheel and in my personal opinion it cannot be repaired or the wheel will be compromised, I wont start it.
